We are so proud of all of the middle school students that participated in the “Art in the Capitol” contest this year.  They did a fantastic job!  “Art in the Capitol” is a statewide visual arts competition that requires each school district to annually hold an art competition for all students’ grades 6 through 8 attending public schools, private schools and home education.  The contest is held, in the fall, each year.  All students were encouraged to participate.  We had some really great entries this year and we are already looking forward to next year’s contest.  Ella Goksen, a student at Blountstown High School, was the winner of the “Art in the Capitol” contest for this year.  Ella will have her artwork displayed at the capitol during the 2020 legislative session.
